Elizabeth teaches guitar lessons to children ages 7 and up, as well as offering private lessons and group classes for teens and adults. Lessons focus on development of technical skill using classical technique; awareness of balance and relaxation; sensitivity to phrasing and musicality; and cultivation of good practice habits. Students have the opportunity to participate in ensembles and in semi-annual recitals, as well as music enrichment classes throughout the year.

Elizabeth has been teaching guitar since 1999, and has most recently directed a guitar program specifically designed for children ages 5 through 12 in Los Angeles, CA. She has also taught as a teaching assistant at the University of Southern California and as an instructor at the Culver City Adult School. Elizabeth first began studying the guitar at the age of 7. She earned her bachelor’s in guitar performance at Colorado Christian University and went on to study with William Kanengiser at the University of Southern California, where she received her master's in guitar performance. She has performed with the Chester Philharmonic in Chester, England, and the Lakewood Symphony in Lakewood, CO, and given performances throughout the western United States.
